Mel is one of our bubbly Speech and Language Pathologists who work between our Charlestown and Warners Bay clinics. Mel walks through the door each day with a great, big infectious smile. She is so excited to be amongst such an amazing and caring family here at Leaps and Bounds. Mel is an exciting delightful clinician whose passion is working with children and their families to achieve their dreams.

Mel is extremely dedicated to professional development and motivated by bettering herself and her work, through participating in a number of postgraduate training courses. Mel is a Hanen Certified clinician with training in ‘It Takes Two to Talk’. She is also trained in the PROMPT technique for severe speech disorders, the Lidcombe program for stuttering treatment, Sounds-Write for literacy development, and very special training in ‘Secret Agent Society’, an amazing program developed to assist develop social skills of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Mel aims to make therapy fun and energetic not only for the children but for their parents too!
