Emma is one of the fantastic clinicians at our Charlestown and Warners Bay clinics. She graduated from the University of Newcastle at the beginning of 2021, and has since worked in the clinic and in both preschool and school settings providing assessment and therapy to clients.
Whilst Emma enjoys all aspects of Speech Pathology practice, she has a particular interest in speech sounds and literacy. Emma is looking forward to engaging in more professional development opportunities throughout the year to continue developing her clinical skills.
Emma is an energetic, courteous and caring clinician. She prides herself on creating a positive environment within the clinic which allows her to build rapport with her clients. Emma believes collaboration between the clinician, the client, and their family is key when working towards goals and providing quality speech therapy.
Emma is very excited to join the caring and supportive environment that Leaps and Bounds provides for its clinicians and families.
Emma has grown up as a dancer! She still loves to dance but also really enjoys teaching her skills to the next generation of dancers. She has trained in many styles including ballet, jazz, lyrical and physie. Emma had the opportunity to travel to the USA with her high school in 2016, to participate in a range of dance workshops. It was amazing !!!
