Claire Crompton

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

A bit about me:

Claire is one of the fabulous speech pathologists at our East Maitland clinic. She has previously worked in a rural private practice, and loves working with our dynamic team!

Claire enjoys working with both children and adults across all settings –clinic, schools, homes, and in the community. She loves all areas of Speech Pathology, including speech, language, literacy, augmentative and alternative communication, dysphagia, voice, stuttering, and social skills.

Claire is passionate about expanding her knowledge and skills by attending various courses and training programs. She has completed training in Sounds Write, PROMPT, PECS, PODD, Key Word Sign, Hanen – More Than Words, and Colourful Semantics. Claire can’t wait to continue expanding her training so she can provide extensive hands-on knowledge and education to her clients and their families.

Claire strives to individualise her therapies to suit each client and their families, in order to for the client to have the best potential to achieve their goals. She loves building rapport with the families she works with, in order to provide an inclusive and supportive therapy journey.

In her spare time, Claire loves spending time with her partner and her two fur babies – Sako (German Shepherd) and Luna (Bengal Cat).

Where I work / clinic:

Fun Fact:
