Anna graduated from The University of Newcastle in 2011. After graduating she worked at different hospitals and community health settings within the Illawarra area. She made the choice to move back to the Hunter in 2015 and has never looked back!
Anna has extensive experience working with both children and adult clients and has worked alongside many other professionals including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Audiologists, Dietitians, Paediatricians, school teachers and preschool teachers. Anna enjoys working with clients to improve their speech sounds, language skills, stuttering, voice, literacy, social skills and feeding/swallowing skills.
Anna is dedicated to ensuring therapy goals are family centred and enjoys building rapport and getting to know all of her clients. She likes to make all her sessions fun and is always on the lookout for exciting new games or activities to try. Anna strives to make all sessions individualised and monitors therapy outcomes to make sure all of her clients are progressing well.
Anna is committed to professional development and has attended many workshops to further her education and training. She has attended post graduate workshops on speech sound disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, language disorders, literacy disorders, paediatric feeding and clinical supervision. She enjoys using new skills in sessions with clients.
Anna loves being outdoors in the sun, often enjoying a ride to the beach, swim or game of beach volleyball. She enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures but also loves staying indoors curled up with a blanket and good book.
